Welcome to Daliah

Menopause can be a time of personal liberation where we emerge wiser, healthier and ultimately stronger in mind and body. Menopause can also be a time of confusion and anxiety if women are not well informed, supported and equipped to deal with the changes they may experience on their journey.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to respecting your privacy and treating your data with the utmost care. We have provided information about what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we care for it in our Privacy Policy.

Our commitment to you
We know that your information and your privacy are important to you – whether you are just browsing the website, are a member of the Daliah community, or have joined one of our programmes. We value your trust in us, and we’ll do everything we can to protect your data, and use it for the good of you and the Daliah community.

We have three privacy pledges that we live by:

  1. We will only use your information to help us provide a better, more relevant and personal service to you.
  2. We will never share your information with anyone else, without your express permission – and only if sharing your information, will help deliver a relevant service to you that you want.
  3. We will always use the best possible technology and digital services to protect your information – and respect your right to ask questions about where your data is stored, who has access to it, and follow through when you ask us to remove your data from our systems (although we hope you won’t want to leave us!).
  4. What type of information do we gather?

The main reason for gathering information about you – or anyone in the Daliah community – is to help us understand who you are, and what you might need. The most common types of information that we gather include your contact details (so we can send you relevant information to support your menopause journey), as well as information that you may share with us about your specific situation. For example: your Menopause Mapper, information products that you like/don’t like, stories that you share with us, and answers to our regular community polls that help us to get to know you better.

We might occasionally collect what is known as “sensitive” information. This includes information about you that may be of a personal nature – such as your ethnicity, age, education, occupation, lifestyle, health, wellness or sex life.

We also collect anonymous data about the users of our website and social media platforms, via applications such as Google Analytics and Hubspot. These applications do not collect any personally identifiable information and the data is only used for statistical and marketing purposes.

And lastly, our website makes use of cookies – or device IDs – to help us monitor and understand how users make use of our website. We do this so that we can continuously improve what we offer our users.

How do we gather your information?
We gather information about our community via various methods:

  • Forms that you complete on the website (e.g. signing up for the Daliah Digest or completing the Menopause Mapper)
  • Information that you share directly with us via the FAQ or Contact Us options
  • Information that you share with us when attending events, webinars or training sessions
  • When you complete a survey, poll or give us feedback
  • When you buy a product or service via our website (this will be coming in 2023!)

As all the information that we collect is based on what you tell us, you are responsible for the accuracy of it. Should any of your details change, please remember to let us know so we can update your profile and ensure you only receive the most relevant content at any time.

Your information may be gathered or stored via one of the following secure locations:

  • (location of web hosting servers)
  • (location of CRM database servers)
  • Google secure servers
  • Hubspot secure servers

How do we use your information?
We are very careful about who has access to your personal data, how it is protected, and only use it to help shape the kinds of services and offerings we can give you.

Occasionally we may aggregate data from all of the Daliah community, to help us understand trends or preferences. The process of aggregating data includes removing personal identifiers – such as your name, email address or anything that could be used to identify an individual. This kind of aggregated data may be shared with service providers or reported in our research papers for statistical purposes – as it cannot be connected back to any individual.
